Itinerary
Our adventure of Palcoyo Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain begins at 5:00 am as we pick up passengers from their respective hotels. From there, we head towards the charming village of
Pitumarca, where we’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast to energize for the day ahead. Continuing our journey, we make our way to the village of
Combapata, where we’ll have the opportunity to admire a colonial bridge along the way.
Next, we arrive at the picturesque village of
Palcoyo, nestled at an altitude of 4100 meters. From this point, we can marvel at the breathtaking
Palcoyo Mountain Range, particularly the three colorful hills that stand out in vivid contrast. Continuing our exploration, we reach the starting point of our hike, embarking on a 40-minute walk to the vibrant
Rainbow Mountains. As we soak in the mesmerizing views and capture countless photographs, we’ll also have the chance to visit the nearby
Stone Forest, a fascinating geological formation.
After this incredible experience, we make our way back to
Pitumarca, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits us.
Once we’ve satisfied our appetites, we begin our return journey to Cusco, aiming to arrive at approximately 5:00 pm.
Throughout the day, our knowledgeable guide will provide insightful commentary, connecting us to the history, culture, and natural wonders of the Palcoyo Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain region.
